This organisation was started following the International Seminar on Frederick Engels which was held in Ischia, Italy, in December 1995, on the centenary of the death of this great leader.

There have been two international meetings:
In London Britain, December 1997
In Paris France, October 1999
The third meeting took place in London during 2001.

The NCMLU promotes the view that Marxist-Leninists should form a Communist alliance and eventually constitute a single communist party, free of all revisionist trends.

ALLIANCE M-L aims to examine the politics and history of the Marxist-Leninist Movement, in order to assist in the re-building of a Marxist-Leninist movement in both North America and internationally. Their purpose is to promote a principled unity between the Marxist-Leninist forces in both the USA and Canada.
